@ 1369 The gift of Allah to Solomon 38:34-40
38:34 Indeed, We tried Solomon and placed a body (of a child) upon his throne, then he repented.
# وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَانَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ جَسَداًّ ثُمَّ أَنَابَ 34
38:35 He said, 'Forgive me my Lord, and give me a kingdom the like of which will not befall any after me, surely, You are the Giver.'
# قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكاً لاَّ يَنْبَغِي لأَحَدٍ مِّنْ بَعْدِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الوَهَّابُ 35
38:36 So We subjected the wind to him, so that it ran softly by his command wherever he wished;
# فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ الرِّيحَ تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ رُخَاءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ 36
38:37 and the satans, every builder and diver
# وَالشَّيَاطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّاءٍ وَغَوَّاصٍ 37
38:38 and others joined together by (iron) fetters.
# وَآخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِي الأَصْفَادِ 38
38:39 'This is Our gift, give or withhold without reckoning.'
# هَذَا عَطَاؤُنَا فَامْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ 39
38:40 And he has a place near to Us, and a fine return.
# وَإِنَّ لَهُ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَى وَحُسْنَ مَآبٍ 40
